Monumental Tree

Unveiled at Müze Gazhane on World Olive Tree Day—commemorated annually on November 26th since a 2019 UNESCO decision—the “Monumental Tree” exhibition explored the olive tree and its cultural, ecological, and historical significance, focusing on more than 300 trees over 400 years old identified by Komili across Türkiye. All exhibition content was prepared by omaoma.
